Dogs are too pure for everyone and for this world. At times, it may seem that we don’t deserve them. While they’re jolly and fun, they can also be kind and understanding. They can sense when their humans are sad or downtrodden, and they’ll give them some sloppy kisses and cuddles as a picker-upper.
One dog in China shows his kindness to his fellow animal. He seems to know that the stray cat visiting his home is hungry, so he decides to share his food with it.
Pudding the angel dog
The kind gesture of the dog named Pudding has been filmed by Ms. Fu, his owner. Ms. Fu, who lives in Shandong Province, then uploads the clip to Douyin, the Chinese equivalent of TikTok.
Ms. Fu says that she is able to catch Pudding’s moment with the cat by chance. It happens in the courtyard outside of her house. She hears the dog barking and when she looks at him, she sees him going to his kennel to get a meat bun.
Pudding then barks again. It is at this point, that Ms. Fu notices a cat at the top of the yard’s staircase. Initially, she fears that Pudding is just using the food to lure the cat for an animal fight. But eventually, her fears dissipate, as she sees the dog stepping back to allow the kitty to get the food.
A touching and heartwarming gesture
Ms. Fu says that she is very touched by what she has seen. This is because it’s the opposite of what she expects of Pudding. The pup, apparently, is a guard dog who is usually overly protective of his food.
Such a kind gesture is also similar to what a pit bull from New Jersey has done for his poorly brother. In this story, a security camera captures the moment where a pit bull named Roman drags his bed over to his brother to keep him company and make sure he’s comfy.
