Toddler Sneaks Out Of Bed To Cuddle Up Beside Dog Friend

Isn’t it heartwarming to see a toddler and a canine get along so well? In this video, we get to see how a child and a canine are inseparable, even when it’s bedtime.

A night camera captured a precious moment between a sleeping Boxer, Brutus, and a toddler sneaking out of his bed just so he could sleep next to his four-legged best friend.

Instead of dozing off in his own little bed, a 23-month-old toddler named Finn Knudgston had other things in mind. The little boy, holding his teddy bear in one hand, and the sheets at the other, quietly crawled into Brutus’ bed and snuggled right next to him.

Paige Knudgston, Finn’s mom, shared that the two have always been inseparable even if it meant sleeping together. It wasn’t that long ago when Finn was finally ready to sleep in his own bed, with Brutus being allowed to sleep next to the bed. This was their arrangement so Finn wouldn’t be rolling out of bed.

Paige also added that the dog bed was placed in Finn’s room just recently since her son required extra protection. This was because Finn was born with a cyanotic heart defect which required various operations to save his life.

When Finn arrived back home from the hospital, Brutus instantly bonded with Finn. It was almost as if the Boxer knew that Finn needed some tender loving care and attention.

Paige shares that before the video, she had already trained Finn to stop climbing down his bed. But it seems that Finn is very persistent to be next to Brutus at all times. She wasn’t concerned if Brutus would get annoyed since he already became used to the toddler climbing and rolling around him.

This just shows that nothing can come between the bond of a toddler and a dog, especially when it is backed up by loyalty, love, and kindness.
